<p><b>Costa Blanca</b>, Torrevieja, 15 March 2005<br />We have at last escaped Almerimar and headed north around Cabo de Gata. This is some of the most spectacular coastal scenery we have seen on our travels so far. The ports of San Jose, Garrucha and Mazarron are all very different and quaint in their own way. Cartagena is in a spectacular setting and is a superb natural harbour, and all steeped in history. We are now in Torrevieja, a very “north European” expat marina and will move on tomorrow (if the rain stops!) </p>
